I've stayed at the Colonial Inn in Nags Head for a long weekend and had a great experience. The location is perfect, right next to the pier and the beach. The room was clean and comfortable, with a small kitchen and bathroom, which was exactly what we needed for a short stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the outdoor pool was a nice bonus. However, the furniture in the room was a bit outdated and the appliances could use some upgrading. The hotel's decor is also a bit dated, but overall it's a great value for the price. One thing to note is that the parking can be a bit tight, but it's not a major issue. I would definitely stay here again, especially for the location and price. The beach is literally right outside the door, and the pier is just a short walk away. There are also some great restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel is also pet-friendly, which was a big plus for us. One issue I had was that the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty at times, but it was not a major issue. Overall, I would recommend the Colonial Inn to anyone looking for a budget-friendly option in Nags Head.
