Water lovers who want to pick up all the skills required to master a new watersport while enjoying the cool waters of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore will want to sign up for this amazing camp that’s designed just for them. The Kids Zero to Hero Kiteboarding Camp takes beginning boarders from the absolute basics to self-sufficient kiteboarders in just a couple days of intense but undeniably fun lessons.This immersive camp starts from the ground up, and breaks down the sport of kiteboarding into easy-to-process bits of information to learn the sport, and to learn it quickly. Students will be taught the basics of flying the kite as well as riding the board, and once both skills have been mastered separately, it’s time to head to the water to become an actual kiteboarder. The goal of these immersive camps is for students to be able to hit the local sound waters or waves after the camp is over and be able to fly on their own, and with safety tips and plenty of fun along the way, the detailed camp makes it easy for any new beginner to learn. Held in the heart of summer, this camp allows kids to return home from vacation with an amazing new skill.
